I am a poet. And I work as a psychologist, artist and writer inspired by the TAO.
At age 4 I declared my desire to understand the human Soul and since then I explore it. Psychology is the study of the soul and art its expression. For this reason, in my Visual poetic Work I compose the "maps" of return to that «Original» space and in Taoist Psychology I offer "tools" for this.
I call all my work OPEN WORK, because my work is a Tribute to our «Sacred Receptive Dimension»: the space of openness and total surrender to Life. Which from the TAO is stated as "non-Being" or Void.
OPEN WORK is the integration of all my work in a single medium: the book (PDF). And in all my books are present: the SIGNS (my visual language and art), Taoist Psychology and poetry; although each Collection specializes in one area.
At age 7 I began collecting my "Life Journals", intervened agendas, poetry and story notebooks, and scores; because I knew that when I 'grew up' I would get lost and this material would help me find myself. In this way, OPEN WORK is the 'return' to the books of childhood, my first medium; now, from the joy and maturity of walking the Path.
The mission of OPEN WORK is to develop the psychological, creative and spiritual potential of Humanity, through its integration, for the return to the Great Harmony.
The SIGNS are the synthesis and union of Western writing and the Eastern gesture. They are therefore a universal language that, through its simplicity, reaches a great diversity capable of inspiring works for: large format painting, engraving, screen printing, jazz, world music, dance, sculpture, architecture and design, among others.
The Poetic Purpose of the SIGNS is to generate harmony in its audience. That the public may connect with their own dimension of peace and beauty. And, in this way, once again experience the 'innocent wonder'.
The SIGNS are born through play. Motta asked herself the following question: "What happens if, to all the letters and numbers of the Spanish Alphabet, I superimpose all the same letters and numbers, in their four different positions, using only black aquatint?". The result with a single glaze is 7744 variations of SIGNS. In turn, Motta chose to work on off-white and ivory colored paper. Its original format is (9.09×9.09) cm.
Taoist Psychology is the branch of Humanistic Transpersonal Psychology that arises from the contemplation and wisdom of: the human, Nature and the Transcendent, inspired by the spontaneous flow of existence.
The Integration Process is one of the central concepts of Taoist Psychology, which addresses and encompasses: Human Development, Growth and Harmony.
The psychotherapeutic approach of Taoist Psychology is centered on facilitating awareness regarding processes and ways of being, and on developing the potential of the "peace-sentient" (patient, client). For this, it works from the integration of the dimensions: affective, creative, reflective and transcendent.
